Since 1775 the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen, Denmark has supplied professional
training that produces dancers for the Royal Danish Theatre. The Ballet School
includes approximately 70 pupils ageing 6 – 16 years. Tuition is characterized
by a low level of pupils, giving teachers the opportunity for an in-depth
knowledge of each child, and the school has produced ballet-dancers of
international magnitude, which have thrilled Danish audiences and also harvested
great recognition abroad.
