Ukraine
前苏联解体后，乌克兰陷入混乱，毒品泛滥。人们在可卡因中醉生梦死，逃避现实。毒品上瘾的原因不同，后果也因人而异。这组图片展示了生活在乌克兰中部城市第聂伯罗彼得罗夫斯克的不同年龄阶层的吸毒者以及毒品在他们身

addiction is still a common problem in Ukraine years after the turmoil resulting
from the Soviet Union’s collapse. Many find drug as the way to escape from the
harsh reality. Drug addicts have different causes and effects from their
addiction. The story shows different generations of drug addicts and effects of
the endemic around a middle-sized Ukrainian city - Dniprodzerzhynsk in central
Ukraine.

2008年8月8日，30岁的丽娜在位于乌克兰第聂伯罗彼得罗夫斯克市的家中注射脱氧麻黄碱，一旁是她32岁的男朋友，注射完后躺在沙发上休息。两人无固定职业，几年前开始服用毒品。
Injection-
Lena, 30, injects the methamphetamine pervitin while her boyfriend Igor, 32,
rests after his injection at an apartment. They are both unemployed and have
been taking drug for years.
10-02:2008年8月11日，乌克兰第聂伯罗彼得罗夫斯克市，斯迪克服用脱氧麻黄碱（中枢兴奋药的一种）后在家中休息。斯迪克因在一次街头殴斗中过失杀人而被判刑，在监狱中开始服用毒品，到现在已有20年。脱氧麻黄碱在当地可以轻易获得，因而泛滥成灾。
Sidik,
35, rests after taking pervitin. He has been taking drug for almost twenty years
since he stayed in prison after unintentionally killing a man from street fight.
The methamphetamine “pervitin” is one of the most widespread drugs in the area
because of ease of availability.

a drug addict Sasha, 28, for theft. Sasha, has been taking drug about ten years
and already spent some time in prison in the past.
10-05:28岁的坦尼雅，在厨房处理脱氧麻黄碱。脱氧麻黄碱的成分可以低价在药店买到，许多吸毒者会买回家做处理后吸食。Drug addict Tanya,
28, cooks pervitin at home. Pervitin’s ingredients are available for low cost at
pharmacies, and many drug addicts cook it at home.

methamphetamine pervitin’s addiction caused the bone fragility, and Dima, 30,
broke his jaw bones a couple years ago. And, then his jaw got some virus and
developed to bone cancer and the swollen jaw. He is unemployed and lives with
his 5 year old daughter and parents.
10-07:萨夏，51岁，艾滋病患者，71岁的穆青正在为他处理腿上的伤口。萨夏17岁被判刑后，在监狱待了很长一段时间。7年前他因使用未经消毒的针头感染艾滋病。Sasha,
51, a drug addict who has HIV, gets a treatment for his wounded legs from his
mother Lidia, 71. He has been taking drug after he spent some time in prison
when he was 17. He was infected with HIV 7 years ago when he used unwashed
needles.

51, prepares pervitin in the kitchen in the morning. His HIV reached the third
phase. In Ukraine, the sharing of unsanitized needles is a main cause of the
spread of HIV. He said he regrets and wants to start over his life.
10-09:一名病人在戒毒所高歌。戒毒所由美国新生命教堂资助建立，旨在救援吸毒者和酗酒者。戒毒所内现有15名病人，他们学习圣经，由教堂提供工作。Patients
at a correction center near Dniprodzerzhynsk sing during the service. The center
founded by New Life Church in America offers treatment for drug addicts and
alcoholics. The center has around 15 patients. They live in the center while
working the jobs offered from the center and studying the Bible.
10-10:2008年10月10日，乌克兰第聂伯罗彼得罗夫斯克市，26岁的伊娃（Ira）在自己断电的公寓里抽烟，身旁依偎着8岁大的儿子瓦尼（Vania）。伊娃与丈夫萨夏（Sasha）并没有登记结婚。萨夏在她怀孕时因吸毒被关进监狱，留下的生活费不足以支付妻子上医院的费用。伊娃支撑到了要生产的前一刻才住进了医院。Ira,
26, smokes while her son Vania, 8, leans to her at their apartment without
electricity. Her partner and drug addict Sasha returned to prison, and the
pregnant mother was left with her son with so little money that she could not go
to hospital until the very last minute. |
