窑山地处中国宁夏回族自治区同心县东部干旱贫困带中心，年均降雨不足200毫米,而年均蒸发量却高达2300多毫米!自2000年以来,这里的旱地颗粒无收。村民从集雨窖提上的水，水质混浊，散发着异味，并掺杂着大量杂物。这样的窖水必须早上提出来放在阴凉处澄清，下午
4点以后才可以用来做饭、饮用而且水还是发苦、发涩。Yaoshan

been successive crop failures on the dry farmland here since 2000.The villagers
here have to use the water stored in the rain-collecting cellars, which is muddy
and odorous with impurities. The water has to be fetched in the morning and
placed in a shady place for purification, and used for drinking and cooking
after 4:00 in the afternoon, but the water still tastes bitter and puckery.Luo
