Wu was born in 1953 and is now working for United Daily News Group as
Deputy Director of Photography Depar
tment. He was appointed as a photographer in
1977. He joined Taiwan Daily as a photographer in 1979 and worked as a
journalist in United Daily in 1987. He also used to undertake the position of
college tutor in Department of Photography, Shih Hsin University, Taiwan. He won
various awards in photography in his professional life in past decades

I feel honored to be invited to the jury. With direct cross-straight
flights, the distance between Taiwan and the Mainland is shortened
to 90 minutes, which saves a lot of time. CHIPP entries record
important events around the globe, reflecting a real world on
both beautiful and ugly side. The contest is an important platform to
encourage those extraordinary photographers. I am so honored to be
on the judging board. |
